Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Though there are a lot of places to eat at on campus, about half of them don’t accept a meal plan. They either accept cash or Diamond Dollars, accessible with your ID card. Fair warning: don’t get a big meal plan—it’s a waste. The smallest meal plan available is a "block five," which is five meals per week and is only to be used at the SAC or the cafeteria. The largest plan is the Super Value Carte Blanche plan for unlimited feasting. The cafeteria specializes in different cultural foods, as well as the usual pizza, sandwich, pasta, and salad entrées. The student rec center carries fast food restaurants and snacks. Near Anderson and Gladfelter halls, there are pizza stands, Chinese stands, and deli restaurants where students can eat in between classes. The prices are affordable, even for a college student. If you are a fan of water ice, be sure to check out Saadiq’s Water Ice truck, which is parked near the student center.

Temple is always interested in what you have to say about the food places. There are comment cards for the food or service, and most of them are quite amusing. Comments usually sound something like, “What’s that smell?” The best part is that the administration always replies.
