Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

One thing about Temple University—you should always be able to find computer access on campus. With the number of computer labs located in all of the academic buildings and residence halls, you don’t have to worry about not finding Internet access. The two largest computer labs on campus are Paley Library and the Tech Center. The Tech Center alone sees more than 6,000 visitors a day, and the plus side to the Tech Center is that it’s open 24 hours. As if you needed another distraction from studying, there is a "Tech Center TV" icon on the desktop of every computer, which allows you access to 11 preselected channels (sports channels and music channels included) to watch while you work.

All of the computer labs on campus, especially the Tech Center, have more than 200 software applications, so you never have to worry about a class-required application that isn't accessible on campus. With hundreds—if not thousands—of computers on campus, it’s really not overly important to have your own laptop or desktop, and regardless of a computer manufacturer, it will be supported by Temple’s wireless network. As a whole, Temple University is one of the best universities in providing computer access and software applications to its students.

Temple Is Awesome

I've been in Temple University for a year now, and I must say, it is better than what I expected.

The tech center is always open 24/7 during the weekdays and there are tons of computers you can use. I even heard that we have the most amount of computeres in one facility. The reason why I didnt give an A+ is because around noon-2 and during finals week, its really hard to fine a computer

Very Good!

TU has the largest tech center out of every college in the country, so of course it's amazing! it only gets super crowded during finals, and only twice has the internet gone down, but not for more than half an hour.
