Students at Temple find that, thanks to the large population of people from all over, it’s easy to find someone that sparks interest, at least for a few days. As far as anything serious—come on, it’s college! Live a little. Temple has a lot of potential for relationships, both short term and long. College, in general, is about hooking up and getting a feel for different people while you are still trying to fit into your own skin; Temple is no exception. As far as looks, beauty is something that’s found on the inside and that should be reason enough to find someone you can care for and call a girlfriend or boyfriend. Okay, I know you didn’t believe that for a minute. For real, Temple has okay-looking people. There would be that one good-looking boy or girl that you can’t have because he or she has a mate, but there are a lot of single people on campus, and sometimes looks aren’t really what matters, even if it is for one date. Want some good news? Temple has a handful of students who are models and actors. They are attractive and educated, but be wary of others who also have their eyes on them. Girls in particular are definitely catty. As far as the overall social scene goes, joining clubs and organizations is the best way to meet people around campus. Dances, parties, and classes also are great places to find new people.

Social Scene
It is easy to meet people at Temple, whether the person is in your class and you need someone to copy off of, or if you find someone you can truly call a friend. To make your experience a social one, join a club. There are so many organizations on campus that one of them will perk your interest. Getting involved allows you to meet people, find out things about yourself, and do something good for your school.
Hookups or Relationships?
Both. Whatever floats your boat. Temple students have something to offer to everyone. You won't see a lot of couples holding hands on campus, but who knows what happens behind close doors.

Because Temple University is so diverse and has the advantage of being in a urban city, students do everything from wear their pajamas to class to dressing up like a fashion plate. Everyone looks to out-do someone else, but it’s really all about your own personal style.
