There definitely are drugs here
A+
It's really weird to me that everyone is (for the most part) saying that there are no drugs. That's not true at all. Tons and tons of people smoke, and it's pretty easy to get away with on campus. Usually if campus police catch you they'll just tell you they hope it's tobacco and then they tell you to dump your bowl out and get the heck outta there. You can get pretty good weed or you can get bad weed. It's also pretty easy to get acid and opium. Coke is also around. And, of course, everyone drinks. Thursday through Saturday are the big partying nights but people do drink at other points during the week. The people doing drugs aren't crazy druggies, they're smart people who have open minds and don't overdo anything. There are a lot of stoners at Temple though, but they're all smart people who are fabulous to have a conversation with.

Temple is not just in Philadelphia, it's in North Philadelphia. Off campus is dangerous, and you can easily be shot or mugged. Even on campus a lot of shady figures travel around and a lot of the locals are crazy.

I just got a car, and Philly is not as bad of a place as I thought. The subways shut down early, which is why I never went out much to bars and clubs. |

Security is pretty good; there are campus police all over the place, and I’ve had conversations with people where they talked about how there are a lot of cameras in locations that you wouldn’t even know. I’m not sure how good or bad that is, but you can look at it as there’s always someone able to see if you’re in trouble. |

Don’t suffer alone; join one of those clubs that are part of your major so you can meet people who have taken classes that you need to take. |

I always eat at the lunch trucks; it’s faster, and the prices are cheaper, and also the people that serve the food are nicer. The cashiers and food preparers at Temple always have an attitude. |

Owl’s Nest was closed so long, people forgot about it. It’s a pretty cool place, but kind of dirty. They made everything, and it stayed open really late. |

Something I saw about Temple—no one had a sense of individuality; everyone wanted to do what the next person was doing. You go to college to experience different things than what you were used to, but too many people were co-signing. |

There were a lot of different people. Beautiful, not so beautiful—with 30,000 people, you’ve got a lot of whatever you can think of. I can think of a number of beautiful people that I’ve wanted to get naked.

I liked it more every year. I thought it was a good school. I didn’t have much to compare it to, but I wouldn’t change anything. It really wasn’t much about education, it was more about experience. Since the school was located in a city, I think I learned more outside the classroom than I did in it. |

So many choices
A+
With so many people attending a school, you can literally find whatever you're looking for. It's definitely not hard to find a guy to hook up with at a party and with so many attractive, intelligent and funny individuals it's not hard to find someone to take an interest in either.
