TSU Entranceway
Students at TSU seem to be happy with their experiences thus far. The school has its issues, such as parking and problems with administration, but on the whole, students feel it is a good school and they have no regrets. The University’s motto is “Students Matter Most,” and they truly try to aid students in any way they can. The teachers are excellent; although some could be a little more outgoing, the majority really tries to help students to get the education they are paying for. There is a good balance between academics and socializing as well, and TSU students know when to party and when to study. There are a few exceptions, but most students do not allow their social lives to interfere with their grades because their education is important to them. However, students are not afraid to blow off class for the fall and winter breaks to go home early, and they are not shy about heading out early on a Friday for a Tigers road game! There are a few improvements that could be made such as parking, registration, and some building renovations, but most of TSU’s drawbacks are related to the same problems the city itself has. The administration seems like they are trying to better the school, and former-president Hefner was adamant about fundraisers and programs that brought money to the school for its improvements. There is one aspect that needs to change and that is the enrollment and registration process. It is difficult for an incoming student to know where to go and who to contact, and the administration could be much more helpful in aiding students with registration and updating them on their financial aid status. TSU students are satisfied with the school as a whole, and in order to get the best ideas of what to do and not to do, talk to the students. TSU students are friendly, energetic, and always able to help someone in need.

So far I like TSU. Its not to big and the class sizes are just right. Every student gets the induvidual help they need and tutoring if they want it.
