Off-Campus Housing

Being a student who does live off-campus, the options are very convenient. Almost all apartments are provided public transportation and affordable pricing. One of the cons of living off-campus is that as a new student, you have limited ability to socialize with other new students. The safety of off-campus housing is very good, I feel safe walking from my apartment to my bus stop and around the neighborhood. There is not much help from the school with finding off-campus housing, but many websites are offered that are helpful with comparing prices and amenities.

Accents

I myself am from New York state, so it took a little while for me to get used to the accents and different sayings. There aren't many African Americans, but most of the students get along with one another.
