There is essentially no drug scene at A&M. Most students agree the presence of drugs on campus and in the city is very unobtrusive, and the most frequently abused substance is alcohol. Alcohol is probably the only substance that all students have a wide exposure to, although other drugs are likely still available on campus. They are just harder to come by and less popular, and many students will never even see them during their four years here. Of all the illegal drugs on campus, marijuana is the most popular, but even that isn’t
very common.
College Station is a small town with little influence from the drug culture. It’s mostly a clean town, which gives you a better chance to stay in school and pass your classes. Just make sure that you don’t get caught up in the drinking and partying scene, because that can take its toll, as well. Even though you’ll have the opportunity to go out and party every night, you shouldn’t. After all, this is college and you’re here to learn, right?

A+
I don't drink and I don't see a lot of ppl getting wasted here and esp no visible use of drugs. There are cops when we have college night and it seems a lot safer than most schools

I know for a fact that there are people on campus who smoke up, but there are very few. The drug scene here is almost nonexistent. It’s better that way, in my opinion. |

There is not much of a drug scene here, so you should have nothing to worry about. Drinking, on the other hand, is big—very big. |
