Advice on Finding a Job/Internship Money and experience are something every college student needs, and A&M has chances to earn both. There are plenty of jobs in Northgate or you can look further off campus, and students can even work on campus at the coffee shop or library through the work-study program. If you have trouble finding a job on your own, visit jobsforaggies.tamu.edu. As for internships, there are plenty of them! You should start look the summer after your sophomore or junior year. All you have to do is keep an eye out for them, or you can talk to your academic adviser for some opportunities. Also check your school e-mail account regularly because you'll probably be able to find some internships there. Not all internships pay, but they do all provided experience and look great when applying for graduate school or your first job. Employers are always looking for someone who has on-the-job experience, and internships are the best way to do this while still in school.
