College Prowler Take
TCU women are well-known for their looks. A few years ago, Playboy supposedly voted the school among the hottest national universities. Most girls at TCU are the sorority type, but if you come looking for something different, you’re sure to find it. TCU guys are not known for being quite as attractive, though most are quite appealing to the eye and by manners. Many students seem sexually promiscuous, as rumors circulate as to which of the sororities is the “easiest” by the reputations of the members. Similar rumors exist about the female dorms, as well. Most students at TCU take part in Greek life, which makes it harder to find someone outside of that. Finding someone new and interesting is by no means impossible, and most of the people are at least somewhat attractive. There is more than enough beauty to go around here at TCU, no matter what type of beauty your eye beholds. Students Speak Out

TCU girls have positive reputation...
TCU girls have positive reputation nationwide for a reason; however, TCU girls are example A for looks being deceptive. A lot of the girls can be fake and dramatic. The guys are fairly good. They range from super good looking to super nerdy, but at least they all have manners. The main problem is the girl to guy ratio. It can get frustrating being around girls all the time.

The guys here are pretty generic I...
The guys here are pretty generic I must say. Most are your typical fratty delights... polo, khaki shorts, sperries, and baseball hat with croakie. Not really my flavor. The girls are similar, pretty much all wearing the same thing. The students here are overall very attractive. I do find myself thinking that most people here look the same but TCU is trying hard to bring diversity to campus, which i love. Some students are very friendly and helpful while some have your typical self righteous attitude.

There is an odd ratio of guys to girls in my year here. I think it’s about 40–60, so there aren’t as many guys as girls, but I think there are quite a few good-looking guys on campus. I can’t speak personally for girls, but one of my guy friends told me that TCU has a reputation for having the best looking girls, and that’s one of the reasons his dad wanted him to go to TCU. |

TCU was ranked number two in the nation in quality of girls by Playboy Magazine second only to Texas Tech. TCU has an outstanding selection of girls, and for every three guys, there are four girls. Needless to say, TCU has its share of hot Texas women. The guys are a little above average—there’s really nothing spectacular about the quality of guys. TCU has historically been known for its girls, not its guys. |

Social Scene
Most students at TCU are fairly outgoing and friendly. Clear social boundaries exist, but they do not create a hostile or unwelcoming environment for anyone. It's not uncommon for some clubs to hold spring festivals in front of Frog Fountain, or the Student Center, offering free food to the student body. Student Government also sponsors free-movie nights during the year, providing free popcorn for the crowd, which usually consists of fewer than 50 people.
Hookups or Relationships?
Women outnumber men at TCU, but students of both sexes seem to strike a good balance between dating and academics. Some couples come to TCU together, and a fair amount of long-lasting couples meet at TCU, but not everyone at TCU is spoken for—a reasonable number of students are single. Whether it’s relationship or a hookup, it’s not hard to find what you want once you figure out where to look.
Best Places to Meet Guys/Girls
On campus, the BLUU is consistently full of students meeting up or just passing through. The Recreation Center is also a popular spot to meet people, but most students tend to find classmates better suited to their intellectual interests. It’s easiest to meet people at Greek parties or at bars and clubs around town.
Dress Code
If you’re looking for the modern preppy style, look no further than TCU. The overall wardrobe attire of much of the student body makes you feel like you’re in a Polo catalogue. Polo, Burberry, Sperry and Vera Bradley are the most popular brands seen on campus, however there are exceptions. Don’t look to Fort Worth for the most up-to-date fashion trends, but instead for the semi-casual style. Occasionally events call for formal dress, though dress-casual will usually suffice.
