Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Parking at TCU is neither cheap nor easy. It’s difficult to find a spot close to campus, as most tend to be far away from the classroom buildings. Students who arrive in the parking lot early stand a chance of finding a reasonable parking spot, but there are no guarantees. TCU does provide shuttle buses for students to and from both the freshmen parking lot and the overflow lot.

Parking is certainly a hot topic at TCU. Most students are fed up with remote parking locations, the hassle of finding a spot, and the overall inconveniance that TCU parking entails. The prime area of campus has the fewest spots, which greatly contributes to the problem. Parking at TCU can be a real challenge, but the addition of another shuttle has since eased some of the stress.

Need for a Car

Parking is ok. Not super convenient, in terms of proximity to dorms. Definitely need a car. Fort Worth has a lot to offer, but none of it is really within walking distance of the campus.

Parking

Parking is a nightmare at TCU. There is really no way to avoid parking way in the overflow, and commuters probably have the worst time. I feel like with all the money we are paying to go here, we can afford to build a parking garage to subsidize the space we have.

Parking Is Okay

The parking is reasonably priced, but there are definitely not enough spaces. The sophomore parking lots fill up quickly and we often end up parking pretty far away from our dorms which is inconvenient. Also the commuter parking is a nightmare.
