I have not lived in the dorm because they are community bathrooms and you share a room. Courtyard and Tierwester Oaks are the better parts of campus housing. They are two and four bedroom apartments, which means you only have to share your bathroom with one other person or you have your own, which is great. The resident assistants can be strict on curfew, but it not that bad. Living one the ground floor can be horrible, because there can be a pest problem, but if you live on the upper levels the you are fine.

A lot of improvements have been made since the early 2000s. Upgraded facilities, amenities and upgraded furnishings. There is still some work ahead but from what I see things are headed in the right direction and students seem to be happy and proud to live on campus.

The dorms on campus (Lanier East for men and Lanier West for women) are the cheapest and most convenient options, but I would not recommend staying there. They have community bathrooms and showers and they can get dirty. Rooms are double-occupancy. There is an option specifically for freshmen that is also double-occupancy, called The Urban Academic Village, formally known as Greystone. They are more expensive than the dorms, but it was definitely worth it when I stayed there. There is also University Courtyard and Tierwester Oaks which are 4 bedroom apartments (you get your own room). Savoy apartments are now included in campus housing, but if you would rather sign a regular lease through the complex and not the school, you have that option.

Living on campus has its ups and downs. The dorms are fine but the front doors always have complications. It 's very convenient to just live on campus and be able to just walk right outside of your building to join and interact in activites which are usually right next to the dorms. The cost is a little pricey but nothing too severe. The downfalls would be the rules campus housing has and also the drama.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
