During my senior year as an undergrad I participated in 2 internships. One was for Hays County Victim Services and the other was for Hays County Juvenile Probation. Both internships did not pay. The time committment to internships depends on whether you intern during the summer or during a regular semester. If you intern during the summer, you are pressed for time and have to spend alot of hours during the week to finish it within the time frame you are given. If you intern during the semester you are allowed a longer period of time to get your internship hours in, at least this was the case in the Criminal Justice department.
