The facilities at Texas State are very nice and look superb in the night skyline. The facility/grounds staff does an excellent job of making the campus look spiffy. The bathrooms are mostly clean, except for some of the dining hall ones (Jones Dining Hall in particular—scary sometimes) and stocked with plenty of TP and towels.
The Student Rec Center is top-notch. It has multiple gymnasiums on two different levels, a huge swimming pool, a running/walking indoor track, multiple rooms for aerobics and other activities, multiple racquetball courts, personal trainers, and lots of exercise equipment. It also has a café area that serves protein smoothies and shakes, among other beverages and healthy snacks. The café area is also equipped with wireless Internet, TVs, couches, and computers for anyone to use.
