Things I Wish I Knew Before Coming To School
  • Live in a house. Apartment contracts are very tight. Once you are in one, there is no getting out.
  • Research different majors before you choose. You don't have to pick a major or even have a major in mind when you come to Tech.
  • You don't always need to buy the textbook for a class. Wait until the class gets going, and then see if you need to spend the money.
Interviews & Information Sessions
You can schedule weekday visits that include information sessions. Check the Admissions website for dates and times.
Campus Tours
During the week, tours are offered with the Morning Campus Visit and the Afternoon Campus Visit. Generally, they include a campus welcome presentation and then a campus tour. There are also other optional tours (stadium, housing, etc.).
