School Spirit
"We will hit `em, we will wreck `em, we will @#&*ing kick their *@&!" Texas Tech students and alumni have a ton of school spirit, but students have a problem keeping traditions intact. When alumni come to the games and listen for the school songs they sang as students, they find that they have all been butchered by student fans and filled with curse words. This, alongside many of the vulgar T-shirt designs students come up with, brands Tech fans to be anything but classy at varsity sporting events. Although the alumni and student fans may not agree on the proper way to express school spirit, there is definitely an abundance of it.
Getting Tickets
Students can swipe their student ID card at any Texas Tech field, arena, or stadium and enjoy the sporting event for free.
Best Place to Take a Walk
Take a walk around campus. Lubbock gets cool at night, even on the hottest days, and a walk around campus is relaxing. Tech Terrace is filled with parks to run around and through.
