Advice on Finding a Job/Internship Start looking for a job early! Try to get one before you get out because it is hard to get help or get motivated once you leave the resources and atmosphere Texas Tech provides. The administration at Texas Tech doesn’t just want students to attend class and graduate, they want them to succeed after graduation. For this reason, Tech has a career center in place for the University as a whole, as well as several smaller centers that are major-specific. The center provides not only an extensive list of job openings but also resume critiques and job fairs for students.
