Tuition & Financial Aid:
Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology is a great school when it comes to tuition and financial aid, because Thaddeus Stevens believed in providing free education for under privileged kids, which still occurs today through the Stevens Grant. This grant allows you to have your tuition payed for in full for the two years you are here. I applied but i did not qualify for the grant but got other various scholarships from them. The tuition is around 28-30 thousand for 2 years so I will not have to worry about being in that much debit coming straight out of college.

Thaddeus Stevens has a very diverse student body for how small of a campus it is. Through out this body you have your cliques like you would at every high school or even college. Some of the students can be disrespectful of others in the dorm late at night with what they are doing in their dorm but you get used to it.

The career services are very helpful it is just difficult to get in touch with the person who handles all the career services, since she is very busy and is the only one who really handles them.

Our school has a lot of history behind it. Also my school is very small, but comfortable and we have a very high job placement rating for graduates.

At stevens, they do not offer any online courses of study or general education courses, due to the fact that we are a trade school.

The resources on my campus are fantastic! We have a brand new gym, library, and branch campus down the street. Stevens is a blend of old and new, but it looks great. We have campus activities all the time, and we continue to add more activities since our school is a smaller college.

The computer network is almost always reliable and fast. We have problems sometimes but the IT department is usually always on it and fixing the problem. Our printing is great

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I think i am getting my moneys worth here. The school is not to expensive so the bank is not getting completely broken. I got a lot of financial aid to help with the expenses as well.

Academics aren't the best. Par at best. I wish they were a little bit better but i can still learn something new.

My teacher has been in the trade for a very long time. He knows just about everything and has taught me a lot of things this past year.

Carpentry Technology – the first year is spent on the basics and practicing what we learn in class in the shop. The second year we build a house in the community that is sold to a member of the community. The house construction project allows not only the carpentry students to gain real world experience, all the other trades contribute their specialties also. The cabinetry is custom built, the plumbers, electricians and masons all contribute their expertise and gain experience.

It's All Good – I have no complaints about the school, except for maybe the food! The instructors are genuinely interested in the students success. The expenses are reasonable and the job placement percentage is phenomenal!

The Career Department Is Head-And-Shoulders Above – most every other schools' career department in the region. The staff there strive to gain the confidence of potential employers and match it to the skills of the students.

I Prefer the Classroom but.. if it is necessary to complete coursework online than at least it should be intuitive for both the end-user and the instructors. Most of the cousework is in the classroom but the majority of homework and practice is online, good balance for those of us with grown-up schedules.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Good Education for the Price – The education was well worth it. Almost every low income student gets the Stevens Grant. Which covers almost all of the tuition that is not covered by Pell or State Grants. I liked it so much I am going back for a 2nd degree.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
