It depends who you are talking to; seems half-and-half. Some people are really study-oriented and are great to talk to, but others it's really evident just want to use college to party.

It all depends on what you are paying attention to.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Over-all, the financial aid has been alright. There had been some major confusion from the beginning, and a few hidden fees, but we've been able to get past them.

I have not taken online courses before; this question is not applicable.

For the most part, there is a lot of understandability in the classroom and with the school's events. My only complaint would probably be that there are a lot of activities/class trips schedules off-campus, when a lot of students do not have transportation.
College Junior 2013-10-01T18:50:09Z
Students are provided with pretty much anything and everything they need, should they need it and know where to look. My only complaint would be the accessibility of lab classrooms; this is a school that is growing extremely rapidly, and between classes, students are often found trying to find places to go where they can meet their crafting needs. Our lounge is small and crowds easily, especially when people need somewhere to take their projects (and we aren't allowed to take things in the library to work).

The Academics, as previously states, have got to be the best part of this school. The professors are extremely personable, and the subjects (at least the core subjects) are always so interesting.
College Junior 2013-10-01T18:46:30Z
With consideration for everything else about this school, the Academics have got to be the very best part. I personally very, very much enjoy pretty much all of my classes. In particular, the professors of my core-classes are absolutely wonderful - they themselves PREFER to know their students by name and to help them constantly. It's absolutely fantastic and I could hardly ask for anything more.

Students are given absolutely everything that they need, should they maintain the effort to go and use it. We are provided with computers, laptops to rent, tablets and other software. We have a little room near the lounge where students are able to go and do homework, and the library is chuck-full of books that apply to pretty much every major (it's rather a dream come true).
College Junior 2013-10-01T18:40:46Z
The need for a computer at this school is incredibly high. Between general-education assignments and specific software needed for our majors, students are almost always in need of either the internet or other resources. This being the case, I would rate the network of the school as "B+" mainly because we are located in an office building and have to mooch off of the building's network. We have our own "Student Wifi" but it is still under the means of the businesses between our floors of the building.

I was a transfer student, and out of one entire school year's worth of classes, only one class was transferred. I could be nearer to graduation if more classes were able to be offered each quarter.
College Senior 2013-09-20T23:13:51Z
My professors and curriculum are excellent, and I feel like I've learned a lot since the beginning of my education. However, class availability due to a small school makes it very difficult for me to advance quickly. More flexible class times, or more classes offered each quarter, would easily shoot my grade for this school from B+ to an A.

I have gained and lost professors since the beginning of my education. My foundations professors and classes were excellent, as well as my core professors.

Works for Me – I have been able to schedule my classes as convenient to me and my AD has been extremely helpful in making sure my classes fit my life. For example, our car was stolen just a few days before classes were to begin. I had already registered, but when this happened, I needed to change my schedule because I was unable to get to the campus. I also did not want to drop classes and reduce my credit hours because it would negatively affect my financial aid. My AD was more than helpful in finding online classes that I could take to make up for the deficit in credit hours. It worked out perfectly!

What can I say? WHEW!!! The online courses are very challenging because they condense 11 weeks worth of subject matter into 5 1/2 weeks! One's life must almost revolve around the computer when taking online courses. I've had the pleasure of taking Western Civ. and Psychology online...at the same time! That was a very challenging experience, to say the least. Overall, the online classes are very intense, but very good. There is a lot of material that is covered but most of it is presented in a way that is relevant. The online professors have been great and are very good at communicating/interacting with students.

We have state-of-the-art computer labs with the latest design software by Adobe. There are PC's and Mac's which is great for users from either environment.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Keep It Simple – I have had a good experience with the Financial Services department at school so far. I have been offered as many awards as possible at this point in my educational career and each staff member has been more than willing to answer any questions I have. Which brings me to my only negative comment: Sometimes everything is explained so quickly that I find myself asking the same questions several times. I think it may be assumed that since I am a more mature student that I already understand how the financial aid process works. Not so; but, they are very helpful when I need to ask questions.

The experinece at my school has been outstanding, they work with me on my classes.
College Junior 2013-04-08T22:31:56Z
I have just started this is my first semeter and the diversity is very big here. They do their best trying to help students who need jobs and places to stay. The professors try and make sure they can help you as much as possible for your grades, and homework. This school is a very helping and hands on school they try and find and get the, "best of the best" for us which is great.
College Senior 2013-03-24T00:25:36Z
there are a lot of immature people that go there. i can't believe some of the things people say to each other or how they treat the school.
College Senior 2013-03-24T00:24:35Z
there are no cutting boards or matte cutters to help us mount our work. there is no open lab to go to to work on hw you have to go to the student lounge and you can only work in there if there is room to sit.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
At this Ai I have not been so happy since I have been here. There are not many resources for the students to use such as cutting boards, light boards, an open lab. Also I have had teachers admit to the class they don't know what they are doing and if they don't know what they're doing, they shouldn't be teaching us.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
