The online courses are great in that they allow the student to manage their schedules. I have little free time in the day and attend classes late at night. I'm not a fan of late night classrooms. The quality cannot replace the face to face interaction with teachers and other students. Students stick with only minimal interaction in class more concerned with completing the assignments in a timely manner than responding to other student work. In the class room, participation was more important.

If you're the type of person who has a busy schedule, then this is the answer for you! I manage a small studio with two other designers and also have an international business that I'm partnered into. These two businesses take up a large majority of my day so choosing when to attend class is a lifesaver. I can log on early in the morning or come in late at night. Assignments must be completed by a set time each day but it's late enough that everyone can get everything done! Living in a busy city, I had to commute to school then back to work, then back to school and finally home. Online courses saved me time, money (from all that gas!) and actually was a better route for understanding the material (I can't sit down for 4 hours, write notes all day, and expect to remember what I did when I get back home).

Being in the military my schedule makes it kind of difficult to attend classroom settings, I wanted something a lot more flexible and online classes definitely provided that. I'm more of a people person so i would've greatly preferred to be in an actual classroom where the instructor and other students are present, but I'm very happy with the online setting. all of the information i need is right in front of me and I don't have to make any special trips to do anything. If I ever have any questions It's very easy to get a hold of someone with the answer.

The online courses are amazing! The professors are very respectful and are willing to help you as much as you need till you understand the material.

These courses could be so much more beneficial with a longer time frame. Each subject is crammed into five and a half weeks, not nearly thorough enough for quality learning or retention.
