In Graceville, there is a Subway, Hardees, Super Canton (chinese), Tampico (mexican), two BBQ places, and a couple of gas stations. They are all decent, and you can eat for pretty cheap. Typically you can make the half hour drive to Dothan, Al to find almost any restaurant you desire.

For students seeking ministry degrees, BCF is absolutely wonderful. Most of the professors have jobs in churches so it is a good way to learn. When someone graduates BCF they are ready to either work at a church, or go to seminary. If you are not called to work in a church, you might as well transfer schools.

There are no "Parties" that you would expect at a college. You cant drink while you attend BCF or you get expelled, but that doesn't mean we don't know how to have a good time. You can hang out with your friends, go camping, play disc golf, cause mischief, or get out of Graceville.

At my school, being a percussion performance major has its pro's and con's. Since it is a small school and I am the only person with my major, I get a lot of opportunities to play in chapel, tour with groups, and get individual attention. However, because of the small area, I will have no connections for what I want to do when I graduate, and there is no percussion teacher.

In Graceville, you have either a house, or government housing. The cool thing about the government housing is that it is mostly college students so it isn't a "rough" neighborhood, and your rent is based on income. Therefore, no job, no rent.

Well considering this is one of the only places in Florida that offered a missions program, I had very little choice. But, I felt God calling me here and and I am very pleased with the school all around. Especially the missions program!

If you live on campus you do not have to travel much. Everything is basically in walking distance.
College Sophomore 2013-07-16T21:10:54Z
There is not much to choose from in Graceville unless you go out of town.

The parking is pretty good for the most part. It is a small school so its not like you are competing with hundreds of people but once the spots fill up they generally stay that ways for a whiles. But all the parking is very close to everything so it ,makes up for the downfalls.

There are quite a bit of scholarships but it is a private school so classes are expensive. So unless you get quite a bit of scholarships from outside sources from outside the college you might end up not taking a lot of classes.

The food is pretty good for a small school but there are not many options off of campus. The cafeteria is really great but it is not open on the weekends so that is a bit of a bummer. The area only has like two fast food joints and a few local places but nothing is open past 10pm

The campus is very laid back. It is a private school so there are some stricter policies but they are well worth it. Besides it is a Baptist college so if you are planning on attending you won't want to be like drinking.

The housing is decent for an older school. The buildings need some updating. This past year I had a lot of trouble with mold in my bathroom. The ac units are localized to each room so some rooms have great ac while others not so much.

The weather is pretty good. It is Florida so it rains a lot sometimes and the campus floods a little sometimes. But overall very enjoyable.

The eduction and missions program at BCF is the best that I could ever imagine. If I could do it all over again I would do the same. I am excited to be double majoring to be able to use both degrees with the possibilities to work in education both in the US but maybe overseas.

Guys & Girls:
The guys and girls at BCF is a very eclectic group. Everyone is passionate about their spiritual beliefs. Everyone pretty much gets along with everyone.

This school has no issue with drug or alcohol use on campus. Students are understanding of a clean lifestyle. Students are highly active in fitness sports and just hanging out with friends without the assistance of any other influence. Plus because the school has strict guidelines to go by if anyone violates and partakes in drugs or alcohol explosion is the outcome.

Everything one needs is on campus or very close by. Students are friendly along with the faculty and staff. Professors are always making sure that their students understand the material that is given.
College Sophomore 2013-04-23T21:13:27Z
There is no public transportation here at BCF. The campus is not big enough to need public transportaion to get around.

The Baptist college of Florida is an amazing school. It has an amazing atmosphere with great fellowship between everyone. Although there can be tensions and drama at times but I would rather go here than any where else.

There is no Greek life at The Baptist College of Florida.

Guys & Girls:
The people at the school are of all sorts; short, tall, nerds, jocks, hefty, skinny. And each student has their own path and are from all over the country. You can find pretty much the perfect match.

Beautiful most of the year, however, due to its location, the area is prone to tornadoes.

So far I am very pleased with the education program. The teachers here are wonderful and are willing to help all the students.

Because the town the school is located in is very small, there are limited places to eat. All the restaurants are convenient. There are many locally own restaurants with student discounts.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
