The housings around the school are all very expensive and very pact. It is very easy to find an apartment but mostly are small, old, and dirty.

I applied for scholarship twice but they never offered me any scholarship.

Since the school is a Conservatory, we do not have sports teams or those cheerleaders.

I am a freshman in percussion performance, I tried so hard to get into this school and study with the best teachers in the States. I am absolutely satisfied with the result and grateful to study with the faculty. So does my parents. If I could do it all over again, I would still choose this school because it was my dream school since I knew more about percussion. I love working with people and groups, so I work on this goal in the future. I would audition for orchestra, join percussion ensembles, or collaborate with other instruments. But since I have so many things that I want to do, I am a little bit afraid that I will find one goal to work on. But I am sure that the faculty in the school will assist me with my career goal.

It's Boston, so the food is pretty great. You're right next to tons of great places to eat.

There is no greek life here, with the exception of a music honor fraternity and sorority.

The weather here is unpredictable as you hear. It can go from 75 and sunny to 40 and raining in a matter of hours.

It's a very accepting community with lots of interstingly talented people. You'll meet some people here who will be famous one day.

The Boston Conservatory is in the heart of Back Bay Boston! This is the place to be, and it is never hard to find something to entertain you. Just be responsible and don't stay out too late!

Our school is entirely devoted to the arts. It's comparable to a cross between a summer camp and boot camp for the performing arts! It is the place to go if you want to perfect your art and make it your life!

The Boston Conservatory not only cares deeply about the education of their students but the space in which they are constantly in as performing artists. Every studio, practice room, and performance space is kept and accessible for student use when needed. This is one of many great aspects of the Conservatory.

School just got brand new Mac desktops, wireless is good in most areas!! Printing costs money which sucks (buy your own printer). Its really best to have your own stuff because there aren't a plethora of computers available.

The Dance department is phenomenal! We have been undergoing constant change during my time here due to new division directors! They are concerned about our wants and needs, wonderful educated faculty, wonderful FREE PT staff available throughout the week, beautiful studios!! The Dance division is in the grey area between collegiate dance and professional dance! Great Preparation for being in the real world pursuing a professional dance career!!!

I was lucky enough to have been awarded a merit scholarship. But the school is not really helpful on helping you get more scholarships and aide or adding to your additional scholarship.

There are no sports teams here. Not really any school spirit, but that is a conservatory for ya!

The food is nothing special. We share with Northeastern University. I can't wait to have a kitchen though.

To get from the dorms to school, transportation is unnecessary. But for day trips or nights out, the MBTA is inexpensive and reliable. Cabs are plentiful, but more on the pricey side. I've never had a problem getting anywhere living so close to school.

Boston is such a great city to live in. My dorm is a ten minute walk from Newbury Street, 20 minutes from the Boston Common, and about 10 minutes from the prudential center. Also, plenty of concerts happen around us because of our close location to Berklee and the BSO. There are also plenty of shows to be seen at our own school.

Boston Conservatory has some of the best professors for the field that I am in that a person could ask for. They are all trained professionals working in professional shows and companies and encourage us all to go see their performances or works. They engage us so much in class that it is easy to pick up what they are teaching and understand it.

Boston Conservatory is one of the most diverse schools you could ever attend. People of all colors, races, religions and sexual orientations attend. No one cares what your choices are or where you come from and will b your friend no matter what you are like. I am grateful to be at such an accepting place.
College Sophomore 2013-01-08T20:51:20Z
Living in Boston is a great experience, but the weather is absolutely bipolar at times. One day it will be fifty degrees and later on in the week it will begin to snow. Luckily, the main building where classes are held are about a 5 second walk from where my dorm is located.

There are many new computers this year at Boston Conservatory. They just opened up a brand new Mac lab and got new Macs in the library as well. There are plenty for students, as well as an almost unlimited amount of wireless access. I am able to make copies and print almost whenever I need to.
College Sophomore 2013-01-08T20:29:14Z
The Boston Conservatory has taught me so much in my first semester. I am beginning to reach brand new levels of talent that I never even imagined to reach. All my professors encourage every student to reach their best potential and see to it that none of us are left behind and that we all become the greatest that we can be. The school has made me feel so at home and comfortable and would not have chosen anywhere else to attend.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
