The school is small, and it really allows the students to be able to meet and work well with professors.

No one really pays attention to athletics on campus.
College Sophomore 2013-11-06T00:38:46Z
There are mostly houses around campus, and some apartments, but it's better to just live on campus or commute.
College Sophomore 2013-11-06T00:37:10Z
There are really no night spots around campus. You would have to travel to the city.
College Senior 2013-10-12T04:38:17Z
campus is located in a good location that give access to various restaurants.

College Senior 2013-09-15T20:39:53Z

College Senior 2013-09-15T20:34:54Z
On break students feel the need to use their type of drug
College Senior 2013-09-15T20:33:42Z
It is two hours away and the buses and trains arr never on time and the metro cards mess up often.
College Senior 2013-09-10T15:38:47Z
Subways and Train are in every direction and easy to find.
College Senior 2013-09-10T15:33:56Z
Too many student use the computers for social media, not enough computers available and it's often no paper in printers.
College Senior 2013-09-10T15:32:18Z
Too many fast food opitions instead of real cooked food.
College Sophomore 2013-08-15T02:06:43Z
Being so close to the city, there is quite a variety of types. The Chinese places in the area that deliver are pretty cheap and taste great. There's a Mexican restaurant that is cheap and has great food. Applebee's and Buffalo Wild Wings are right in New Roc. Fro-yo and sushi are a couple blocks away on Pelham. There's also a great grocery store with a bakery - 99¢ cannolis just about once a week.
The city is a short train ride and the food there is nothing but the best.

The school is all girls, so it's no surprise that it's not a party school. However, in Angela Hall there is drinking allowed. There is the occasional drinking party in Brescia and some people have smaller parties in their room. Otherwise, you have to go to the parties at Iona or Monroe. You can go out to clubs and bars - there are plenty in New Rochelle and the city is only a 25 minute train ride.

It is small and personalized. You really get to know your professors well and get help from them whenever you need it. The classes are fun and enjoyable. You will learn a lot and have enough opportunities to explore more in your field of interest if you pursue it.

Everyone is very different. There are a lot of people from the same or similar cultures, but everyone is still very diverse in their own ways.

There is a nice variety including Indian, Mexican, Potugese, Italian and much more. New Roc is close, too, which has wings, Applebees and a few other spots.

An aspect of campus strictness regarding academics is cheating. If a student is caught, the professor will notify the dean where you would meet. And consequences would be followed.
College Sophomore 2013-08-07T19:41:05Z
There is no Greek life at The College of New Rochelle. This is a very small school, and the concerns of being apart of a sorority or fraternity does not exist.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
