I enrolled at The National Hispanic University for 3 main reasons;
The entire school has this "Familia" like atmosphere, making any one, students, staff and visitors alike, feel welcome and comfortable.
The Attention the professors give their students, being at this school for the past 2 years, I have first hand witness the small classes, and the one on one attention professors give their students. Being in a small class, helps the professor and student alike to have a better and smoother class discussion and lecture.
No waiting list, and easy enrollment. I've been able to take all the classes I need for my general education and most importantly enrolled to the classes I want, not the ones that are available.

Being a student at the National Hispanic University has been a quite unique experience. The work load is decent as long as one stays committed,completes all class tasks, knows how to manage their time, and seek help from the professor if needed. I'm thankful over the fact , that the school provides their students with all the tools they need to succeed, if a student needs any help with an assignment, one can seek help from their professor or get help from the many tutors at the Center for College Success.

Guys & Girls:
Because the ambiance has a feel of high school, most people tend to stay in that phase, although I have meet a few students that contradict that theory i wont have a full scope of the student population because most of them tend to attend night courses due to their busy work or family related schedule.

the ambiance overall is comforting, a small community and the professors to student ratio is a big plus. They have a student service are and it always has a tutor available. The library is collective and very resourceful. The school is so tidey compared to other larger insititutions.

The weather is very Northern California. The winters are cold but no snow, and the summers are hot to about 87° degrees Fahrenheit. So A light sweater is recomended but not always necessary. Classes never get cancelled due to weather conditions.

Although I worry about assignments, all of my professors have been great and have gone out of their way when I have had questions for them.

The professors are great. They are available to students and are easy to talk to. The curriculum for the Master's in Education is fast paced and there is a lot of work, but this was made very clear while applying for the program. The workload is very heavy, but it is manageable.

The university expects a lot from each student, you must go through a process of signatures and paperwork in order to graduate with your major but there is always someone willing to help out.
College Sophomore 2012-12-27T00:40:40Z
The university is located in a great place it does not feel so crowded and there are places to go check out and rent. Parking is great because the parking lot always has space available.

The number of computer labs on campus is reasonable. The network reliability is great, and printing there is not expensive.

At the National Hispanic we are not offered sports.

Because it is a small school, we usually do not hear anything about strictness.

Because it is a small campus, everybody knows each other. It truly is like we are family with one another.

It is a very nice campus, but because of its small size there is no real different student hangouts. The campus is always clean, and the student center is a very relaxed place to socialize and do work.
