The immediate atmosphere of the campus is lively and there are many attractions. The local community embrace the students because students are appropriate of the community.

Transportation around campus is good.

There are many off-campus dining options near the school.
College Sophomore 2013-12-02T04:27:35Z
The nightlife is great but students are responsible and underage drinking is absolutely prohibited.
College Sophomore 2013-12-02T04:26:23Z
The schools campus is pretty strict in terms of students maintaining standards and compliance with policies.

Thomas Jefferson is located in the center city area of Philadelphia. This area is heavily populated with stores and parking is horrendous. It is almost never an available spot and the times for available parking on the street can be inconvenient.

There is some presence of greek life but not they are pervasive.

Guys & Girls:
Typical students look trendy but wear college apparel. Social life is moderate. Jefferson is located within close proximity of the city's night life and students can have some fun on down time.

I loved this campus. All the people I spoke to were friendly and helpful. They helped me finally select a career profession that I feel great about, and its affordable with scholarships and financial help.

Expensive and small square footage. Electric is not included. There is a small gym in the barringer building. They do a good job of creating activities to keep a lively on-campus community. The closeness to class is the best benefit.

There is no dining on campus. There is, however, the hospital cafeteria, which is a popular option. And you can use your card at a lot of restaurants in the area - no discounts to speak of, though, so you're only really gaining convenience.

Patco (to NJ) couldn't be more convenient! Septa is just a couple of blocks away and can get you pretty much wherever you want to go in the city,

I am lucky and already live close to campus - but I do know that a lot of people are able to find apartments near campus at fairly reasonable rates. Philly is good for center city housing options!

Content is great, organization is a bit lacking - but this seems to be true of all accelerated nursing programs.
