I'm currently getting my general education degree, so I'm still undecided on a specific major but this is also a good experience.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition and financial aid is fantastic! You can always go to them if you are having problems or need information about how the radier one card works or what kind of financial aid you can get.

My campus has a tutoring center in the library building. You can go there if you need help in one of your subjects or if you have a paper you are stuck on. I hear they are a lot of help.

The facilities are very good on campus. They have dorms you can live in on campus. The workers there are very helpful and kind. They have a library and a tutoring center if you need help with school work.

The computer network always is up and running smoothly. I have never had a problem finding a computer to use or with the speed of the internet. We also have several printers where you can print papers. I have to pay for each sheet printed, but there is a machine to put money in and push print easy as that. It has broke down once, but the administration will let you print off of there printers.

Three Rivers did a great job working around my schedule. They offer students to sign up for classes before new students enroll which lets you choose the times and days that work for your schedule. I went to Southeast Missouri State University before transferring to Three Rivers and they was able to transfer all my credits.
College Freshman 2013-10-01T19:01:33Z
Three Rivers has awesome campus resources. The library both on campus and online has many resources and online books you can study. The student centers always have tutors to help anyone needing help or proof reading your papers. It has a very nice work out gym and auditorium that is open to all Three Rivers students. Overall the campus is a very nice and comfortable surroundings.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education I have received is worth the money I'm paying. The financial aid office at school is very helpful to all students. They strive to help you find scholarships and get forms turned in on time. Three Rivers does a good job at telling you exactly what it will cost when making a schedule.

we run out of books that are necessary for classes
College Sophomore 2013-09-14T21:12:30Z
I have received my minimum education, nothing is really required. Classes are pretty easy. The office is extremely hard to contact

We have a great nursing program. It is very tough but you will graduate knowing the information. You will be prepared for state boards. Our books cost a lot of money but they will help you. We have a simulation lab which helps you learn the skills you need in clinical. Overall, I feel like I am a better nurse because of the classes I took and faculty I worked with. I just wish they had job opportunities available right out of school.

We did receive some e-mails with job offers and had job fairs at the college but other than that, there wasn't much that assisted us with finding a job.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I was able to take nursing classes and I had an A+ scholarships which paid for all of my tuition. It was very easy to get in touch with the financial aid office and if I had any questions I could go right in and talk to them about problems. There was some disconnect as far as your financial aid for tuition and how it will cover all your other expenses. Overall though I had no problems.

I thought my instructors were very helpful as far as answering questions and responding to emails. It was very easy to register in classes because you could do it online.

For those interested, there are clubs and sports. The sports teams have many young college students getting scholarships to four year institutions. Another fabulous thing is that TRCC has several different campuses so it is really great to be able to attend a college campus close to home. Another feature many community colleges do not offer is on campus housing at one facility. This is nice for those who may utilize it. Another awesome thing....this school does TONS of night classes, so those working day shift have a real chance at education in a tradition classroom setting!

The online program differs from the classroom instruction because there is limited interaction on a live basis. You have to send in a response and wait for an answer. However, I am so impressed with the ease of registration and 24 hour availability to the "classroom." However, this is a great convenience for a working single mother because I have almost unlimited freedom in getting my assignments done.

Three Rivers offers many degree options from technical to transfer degrees. The schools allows freedom to take on extra courses in order to get a degree finished. While they do not have the Associate degree in the field I have ultimately chosen, they do have a degree that is similar enough to transfer easily into my program. Thee are also plenty of electives in my field as well. My main complaint is probably less the colleges fault, and more to do with the fact that I am in the finishing stages of my two year degree. Also, my previous college credits did not transfer and I feel they should have and it will delay my degree slightly.

The student body at this college in very diverse. We have people of different religions and we all get along well. There are also students ranging from recent high school graduates to working parents like myself. I suppose a better life is a common goal we are all seeking and that seems to bring us together: old and young, middle class and poor.

The enrollment process was very easy at this school. I was quite impressed. The registrar was very helpful in assisting me with my chosen major and filling out my paperwork. There are many activities (clubs, sports, etc) to be involved in. I had quite a few good majors to choose from and there are a lot of online courses which helped me go to school and work full time as well. My main complaint is that I had to go to two different campuses in order to complete all of my registration process.

I'm a Business Management major, and I work and have a family of 4 at home. I am taking the majority of my classes online, which I love. It's the best way to accomplish my goals and still be able to work and spend time with family.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
