Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

The facilities at Towson are standard and suitable. There are buildings that students complain about and those that students are impressed with. It seems that the buildings students approve of the most have been renovated most recently, and the buildings that students do not like tend to be the older buildings with old classrooms. The gym is one of the most favored facilities, even though it gets crowded at times. In addition, students adore the free indoor rock-climbing facility there. Students can go as often as they like, as long as they bring their Towson ID.

Students express their appreciation for most of Towson’s spacious dorms and the beautiful gym. There are many advantages to the facilities Towson offers in terms of being spacious and having classrooms in proximity to the dorms. Furthermore, Towson has invested a lot of money in order to improve the facilities on campus. So far, students approve of the renovations that have taken place but agree that more can still be done in terms of updating some of the older buildings.

Gym Is Awful

The athletic center open to everyone with the gym is awful. There are only about 25 cardio machines when we have 20,000 students at our school.

Facilities

The newly renovated buildings are absolutely wonderful. However, the student center and lab buildings are very out of date. Campus activites are very fun and they try to get you very involved in volunteer work.

GSA/Marching Band

The Gay-Straight-Alliance is an inviting source of comfort filled with LGBT-friendly people. I fully intend to be a part of this club, that promotes peace and equality among everybody despite, race, religion, disability, or gender identity. Marching Band is also a popular sport I like to enjoy, where I can share my love of music with others and improve my talents at every practice.
