College Prowler Take
Towson is, without a doubt, a bar school with a great nightlife. If a student wants, he or she can find something to do just about every single night of the week. In fact, around campus, you will see promotions for clubs or bars just about every day of the week. Students have their favorite bars, whether it is uptown or downtown. What makes Towson’s nightlife so great is that there are so many different bars to choose from that the scene does not get old too soon, as it does at many other colleges. You can easily get away with pre-gaming with friends in your room, and the uptown bars are within walking distance from campus. Students agree that the nightlife in Towson is outstanding. There is so much to do and somewhere to go every night. There are tremendous parties, but they tend to be held more often when the weather is nice. Since Towson’s weather lacks many warm nights, the bar scene happens to be more frequented than the house-party scene.

Towson is basically a big bar...
Towson is basically a big bar school. Although there are some parties at off-campus apartments, such as the Colony, every now and then, Towson is huge about its bars. Getting a fake ID is practically crucial for a good experience. The ID does not have to be good, because they are extremely lenient. There is basically something happening just about every night at Towson, either uptown or downtown. |

There really aren’t parties held...
There really aren’t parties held on campus; most of the time, one will have to go to their friend’s apartment. I’m sure you can imagine how ‘happening’ a party is with very limited space. Fortunately, Power Plant and Fells Point are near (25 minutes). . . . 18 to party, 21 to drink. |

There are no parties on campus...
There are no parties on campus because we do not have fraternity or sorority houses. As for off campus, there are some in the apartments. What is nice about Towson is that it is a great split between bars and clubs and parties. Your weekend consists of variety because everything gets boring after awhile. Thursday nights, many students go downtown. Some places include Power Plant (Bar Baltimore) or some more local places (Hammerjacks). There is also a section of bars uptown (less than five minutes away). Some of these include the Crease, the Greene Turtle, and CVP’s. |

The parties on campus are not so...
The parties on campus are not so great because they get broken up really fast, but the bar scene is awesome. The uptown bars are good on the weekends, and Thursday night is the downtown scene. Bar Baltimore and Hammerjacks seem to be more popular for those who need to get in at 18. |

The parties are pretty good around here; I enjoy them, but I feel that in order to have a good party life you have to have the parties off campus. |
