College Prowler Take
You won’t find prevalent hard-core drug use at Trinity. Marijuana is around, but the heavier drugs, like cocaine and ecstasy, are harder to come by. However, alcohol abuse can seem pretty outstanding, at times. Some students will blow off steam on the weekends by downing a few brewskis.
There is a student organization called T-Cert, made up of EMT certified volunteer students, and their weekends tend to be pretty busy for reasons other than their social schedules; they are frequently called when a student overdoes it on alcohol. They arrive quickly, are nice, and take care of the student.

Marijuana is commonly found on campus, usually accompanying a night of partying. Among a select few, cocaine is also used. In both these cases, the drug is limited to certain groups. It is difficult for the random individual who is not affiliated with these groups to chance upon the usage of these drugs. The Trinity community prefers to stay away from other drugs, with the exception of alcohol, which is widely used. |

Although former president Dick Hersh tried to institute several new college policies to crack down on the consumption of alcohol on campus, the party scene still seems to be thriving on kegs, hard alcohol, and common college drugs (i.e. marijuana, Adderol, Percocet). |

Although most students find their partying limited to alcohol, there are pockets of students who rely heavily on drugs for their weekend festivities. Although the most abused drug appears to be marijuana, Trinity students will sometimes dabble with cocaine, heroin, and Special K. Several years ago Trinity lost two students, both to drug overdoses. Since then, students have begun to wise up and party with a little more caution. |
