Trin students care about their looks. Bright colors are everywhere, and most every guy and girl on campus owns a pink polo shirt. The "dress code" is very New England and preppy. That said, if you don't enjoy wearing ribbons in your hair or pearl earrings to the gym, nobody will really care all that much. The guys and girls are, to use an overused but appropriate word, pretty nice. You will be able to find a social group where you feel that you belong. Hookups are, in general, more common than relationships. Trinity has a reputation as a party school, and it is not undeserved.
If the grades below were based on outward appearence alone, Trin students might have received an "A" for both genders. However, the guys and girls both lose points for lack of diversity, a tendency to lean toward cliquishness, and even for some ego issues.
