Overall Experience

Most students that come to Trinity find a niche, and have a wonderful four years at the University. The experience can be as exciting or as mundane as you make it, but no matter what you do outside the classroom, the academic standards never fall, so you will find that there is a lot of work to do, but an education that makes it all worthwhile.

Students on every campus are going to find something to complain about, but at Trinity, it’s the common complaints that make everyone laugh and complain some more, but never actually take measures to change things. Because when it comes down to it, the people that come to Trinity enjoy the four or five years that they spend here and wind up happy that they worked hard and gave up sleep for an educational experience that prepares them for the future. No graduate will make the mistake of thinking that at Trinity they received a greater understanding of the diversity of culture that exists all over the world, even though they might have to study that in an undergraduate classroom. However, they will know that they received a first-rate education and the memories that came from four years of being a part of a university that gave them the opportunity to learn as much as they had the creativity
to pursue.

Students Speak Out

I am now finished at this school, and although I generally have had nothing but positives to say, I am not so sure that I was entirely satisfied with the school. There is not enough diversity in terms of other students, or in terms of course offerings and programs at the school. As such, it kind of feels like I missed out on the college experience. By being small, a school can be user-friendly in some aspects. But you will be limited in what you might be able to take advantage of and who you might be able to meet. It is nice to get to know classmates in these smaller classes, but if you are looking for an adventure, then do not come to this school. All in all, it is great, but the place can definitely be plain vanilla. And that can wear you down. Do not come to this school if you are easily bored.

I had a really great time at school, and while I wanted to be elsewhere at first, now I have built relationships and gained experiences that I would not trade for the world.

I love Trinity. I couldn’t be happier here or anywhere else. Like the perfect pair of pants—it doesn’t fit everybody, but if it does, it’s University bliss.

Honestly, Trinity feels like home to me. That is why I chose it, because it just feels right. I am so amazingly comfortable here, and I feel like I am not only safe, but well taken care of while I finish growing up and prepare to go out into the real world. Trinity is a fabulous place that really tries to individualize the experience of everyone attending. I love it there, and I can hardly think of myself anywhere else.

Trinity was not my first choice of schools. That said, I can’t imagine having gone anywhere else. I have met some amazing people, taken some stellar classes, had super professors, and had an amazing time in general. It hasn’t all been easy, and there have been some pretty trying times, but that could, and does, happen anywhere.
