Advice
- Trinity Career Services does offer some assistance for students who are actively seeking a job or internship. However, you must take the initiative, because they will not find a job for you. Career Services is better at pointing students in the right direction and providing materials that can help them get started finding a career, but they won’t mail off the resumé for you. They’ll make it look good, and the rest is up to you. When you have the chance, attend the Making Connections evenings. They are a great chance to meet former Trinity students who are working in the area and who can give advice on how to get started in business. Business majors can join Alpha Kappa Psi, a fraternity focusing on business skills and socializing. Bring any career questions to your advisor, because he or she might present you with options that you never considered.
