College Prowler Take
Trinity students are a pretty attractive group, yet, aside from random hookups, there is an overwhelmingly prevalent feeling on campus that nobody at Trinity dates. It is as though by going on one date, a girl and guy have committed themselves to a lifelong relationship! Certain cliques tend to date each other; sororities and their brother fraternities are the most obvious example, but this phenomenon is not limited to the Greek scene. People seem very hesitant to date outside of their own social circle, and so they wind up staying in long relationships with one or two people througout their college career. Because San Antonio is hot and muggy most of the year, students can almost become fairly desensitized to seeing members of the opposite sex running around wearing short shorts and small shirts until the real summer hits, and girls start sunbathing on the open grass and the dorm roofs. A lot of random hooking up goes on all the time, but for the most part, it is just part of the fun at a party and nothing serious. It is possible to date at Trinity, but you have better chances of finding a future spouse than you do finding a date for just one freakin’ evening!

Hot? Yes. Attractive? Maybe, if you like men who can crush beer cans with their foreheads. There are some nice guys, but overall, the girls are hotter than the guys. But maybe that’s because the guys don’t wear halter-tops all the time. |

Trinity has almost any kind of person you could want. Look hard enough and you’ll find an idiot jock, a ditzy blonde, a bitter fat girl, or a closeted drama buff. But Trinity’s real value is in the enormous number of students who so openly defy the stereotypes. We have some brilliant jocks. We have some ditzy brunettes. We have both bitter and loving people of all shapes and sizes. |

I’m going to say no. Sometimes, it seems that most everyone at Trinity is alike—in an unattractive way. |

The guys like to party, but really can be quite nerdy, as they love their video games. The girls may care about what they look like, but they’re really sweet people overall, and it is not hard to find a lot of female friends who will be very loyal and supportive. Since most Trinity students take school seriously, both sexes are pretty good about knowing when it is necessary to put studying ahead of their social life. As for hotness: the guys are pretty damn hot overall (which they know, and that can be a problem). The girls? Actually, the ones who try to look good aren’t that hot, and the normal/nerdy girls who are down-to-earth are the ones that are really hot. |

People always tell me that I’m good-looking, but at this school, even I feel ugly. God, are they ever hot. |
FactsBirth Control Available?
Yes - Female students who have had an exam by their own doctor or by the Health Services doctor can receive their prescriptions through Trinity. Free condoms are available in the waiting room. Health Services can also provide emergency contraceptive care, if necessary.
Social Scene
Trinity students can be cliquish, and it can be difficult to know who you are and who you want to be friends with when you first get to the University. At Trinity, there are so many clubs to join that it is possible to try all of them. And once a student has found his or her niche, it's likely that they'll have a great time. Most students have no problem mixing socially outside of their cliques. The biggest rift between students is between those who are Greek and those who are not, and even that is not a huge separation. Many students interact with different groups with no trouble at all. Overall, Trinity is a very friendly campus for those students who are willing to seek out new friends and take chances.
Hookups or Relationships?
Trinity students tend to gravitate toward relationships. Oddly enough, there is a large number of singles, yet once people begin to date, they quickly enter into serious relationships. Some students complain that nobody goes on a date; couples just begin planning their weddings. Random hookups do occur often enough, if that is what you want.
Best Places to Meet Guys/Girls
Since students are encouraged to live on campus, a great way to meet people is in the dorms, since they are coed. Guys and girls are constantly "borrowing notes" from each other in order to maybe get to know each other better. Just getting involved in activities is a great way to meet new people. There are intramural sports for those who like to play, but don't consider themselves too athletic, and there is a chess club for thinkers. Friends are usually willing to play matchmaker, and sororities and their brother fraternities are constantly having mixers where people can meet. Bars and clubs are not the best places to meet people, because they can often be frequented by lonely older men and women who are all single for a reason. But if you just want to have a night of fun, you could always take a chance there. Sometimes, your best chance is to trust a friend’s intuition. One Trinity student wanted to meet the cute guy down the hall, and so she asked him to borrow his microwave (even though she owned two and they both worked fine). They wound up getting engaged. Sometimes, the people you wind up with will be people you live close to, and if not, the more you interact with social organizations, the more likely you are to meet someone who will keep you happily distracted from the piles of homework that keep growing.
Dress Code
It is hot in San Antonio almost all year-round. You see a lot of guys and girls wearing T-shirts on a pretty regular basis. Though there have been some men who prefer to wear skirts running around campus, the majority of them seem to stick with their shirts or frat jerseys. The girls are somewhat divided on style. There are some that wear skirts and heels to class everyday without fail, and others that simply don't know how to apply mascara. Around finals, more and more students attend classes in their pajamas, which provide a hilarious contrast to the professors who almost always come to class in suits and ties. In general, the campus has a relaxed attitude about clothes. Students tend to wear the latest brands, but generally the brands that they have are trendy, relaxed clothing (or perhaps trendy, revealing clothing if she's a freshman on her way to her first frat party).
