College Prowler Take
Most students that come to Trinity find a niche, and have a wonderful four years at the University. The experience can be as exciting or as mundane as you make it, but no matter what you do outside the classroom, the academic standards never fall, so you will find that there is a lot of work to do, but an education that makes it all worthwhile. Students on every campus are going to find something to complain about, but at Trinity, it’s the common complaints that make everyone laugh and complain some more, but never actually take measures to change things. Because when it comes down to it, the people that come to Trinity enjoy the four or five years that they spend here and wind up happy that they worked hard and gave up sleep for an educational experience that prepares them for the future. No graduate will make the mistake of thinking that at Trinity they received a greater understanding of the diversity of culture that exists all over the world, even though they might have to study that in an undergraduate classroom. However, they will know that they received a first-rate education and the memories that came from four years of being a part of a university that gave them the opportunity to learn as much as they had the creativity to pursue.

I hated Trinity when I first...
I hated Trinity when I first arrived because I came from a little private Catholic school which just didn't have the same crowd as Trinity. I've come to like it a lot more, but transferring is on my mind.

Trinity is a great school because it has a little bit of everything. You can't not fit in somewhere. Plus all the students are incredibly welcoming, and you make friends fast.

I would definitely come back to...
I would definitely come back to Trinity. This is pretty much the most amazing school around. Sure, it's a relatively quiet place regarding night life, but that's nice. The important thing is that it's small enough that you really feel a strong community between you, your classmates, and your professors.

I am now finished at this school,...
I am now finished at this school, and although I generally have had nothing but positives to say, I am not so sure that I was entirely satisfied with the school. There is not enough diversity in terms of other students, or in terms of course offerings and programs at the school. As such, it kind of feels like I missed out on the college experience. By being small, a school can be user-friendly in some aspects. But you will be limited in what you might be able to take advantage of and who you might be able to meet. It is nice to get to know classmates in these smaller classes, but if you are looking for an adventure, then do not come to this school. All in all, it is great, but the place can definitely be plain vanilla. And that can wear you down. Do not come to this school if you are easily bored. |

I had a really great time at school, and while I wanted to be elsewhere at first, now I have built relationships and gained experiences that I would not trade for the world. |
