Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

The overall experience at Troy is wonderful. There is not much to during the spring semester because football season is over, but the local cities have activities for students. Montgomery has several sit-down restaurants, malls, and cultural activities, and Dothan has its annual Peanut Festival and a large selection of shops to choose from, including a mall. There are also activities that take place on campus, also such as comedy shows, recitals, and theater performances.

The University does a lot to help its students succeed academically, as well. Professors are always willing to help whenever possible, and many students even develop relationships with their professors that later help with references and jobs. Overall, Troy is a great school, and anyone would enjoy their experience here!

Housing

Troy Montgomery's only housing is the general apartments and housing throughout Montgomery and surrounding areas. As far as I know, there are no special rates for students which would be nice.

Yes, I Would Do It Again

Yes I would do it again, but there are some things within the program that can be improved such as the book they are using for database class and the electives they are offering could be better - some are pretty antiquated such as cobola.
