Isolation Would Be an Understatement

Kirksville is a nice small town, with relatively friendly people. It's strange though, because Kirksville isn't quite a small town, but by no means is it a large city...this bizarre limbo status coupled with Kirksville's location makes for an awkward and out of the way place. Many of the people in Kirksville have lived there their entire lives, and many of their kids have never even been to St. Louis...this town's idea of vacation or a trip to the "big city" is Columbia.

No Off-Campus Transportation

I haven't seen any off-campus transportation, but that's largely because it's not needed. Many of the students who live off campus are within a 15-20 minute walking distance to their classes, and there's plenty of available parking spots throughout the day to park for commuters.

Appearances

The majority of people are not attractive but are not ogres. They tend to be below average. There are a few Greek members who worry too much about their appearances, especially when the prettiest people I have seen are non-Greek. Most beauty on campus are the people that don't realize how attractive they are.
