- Look for an internship well in advance. Some of the best internships have deadlines in November. Have Career Services read over your cover letter and résumé. They know what they’re talking about. Look through all the information on the Web, such as the Tufts Career Network and E-recruiting; these are all accessible from the career services Web site. Go to career fairs. Even if there is nothing you’re interested in, at least you’ll get a better handle on the job market and networking skills.
