Tuskegee's strict guidelines are more like honor codes, beckoning you to a better you instead of beating you over-head with shame. Students and faculty are accepting of almost any lifestyle you may choose, except of course should you choose to make life difficult for their peers.

Housing is pathetic and ridiculous, the price is over the top in relationship to the value of the buildings. Only two renovated dorms available on campus but the price is still outrageous

Dorms could be a little more cleaner and the up keep could be greater.

From my experience, the housing at Tuskegee University is okay, but it needs a lot of improvement. The dorms have all the necessities (bed, closet, desk, bathroom), but the quality and cleanliness needs work. However, I think staying in the "not so great" dorms is a very humbling experience and it teaches us to appreciate what we do have at home. Also, the honors dorms are actually really nice and the apartments on campus are quite spacious.

The dorms are interesting. There are several dorms for men and women plus one co-ed dorm. There are on campus apartments as well. The better dorms are usually honor dorms. The other dorms are still okay if you don't mind killing bugs.
