The online courses at union county college are excellent. I've taken a couple and they are well explained and there is a lot of help in the learning center.

Union county college is very flexible with the timing of classes. You can find a wide range of class times, like morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend. Also, there are many classes that meet once a week, twice a week, or three times a week depending on your needs. It is a great school to be a part of, especially if you are working.

The student body at Union County college is very diverse. It's easy to meet and become acquainted with students with very different cultural backgrounds. Also, most of the students are very disciplined and focused on getting a career.

In Union County College i feel that they can help better with finding jobs. They do have signs posted through out the school, but i feel that kids and others attending the school do not always look at the boards they are posted on.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The financial aid office at my school is really good. The people in the office help any person that needs help finding out if their money has arrived yet, and if the money is paying for the schooling. I have had absolutely no problem with getting financial aid or the process of getting it while attending Union County College.

There are a lot of extracurricular activities students can participate on campus. There is a modernized gym where students and facility members have free access too. In addition, there are over fifty clubs and organizations here students can join.

While the computers freeze occasionally, the computer network is terrific. What I love the most is how it's free to print something here. At my previous school, I had to pay a dime every time I wanted to print out something. There also is not a limit to how much you can print here, which is really convenient because it helps me save ink from my printer.

The class schedules here are very flexible. Union County College always offers options to students who raise children, work, or who can only attend classes at night.

The counselors are amiable and always willing to answer any career-related questions students may have. I always feel comfortable going to them when I have questions about my career because I know they want to help us out. In addition, there are "career exploration" workshops throughout the semester where students can attend a powerpoint presentation and speak with a counselor without having to visit the Advisement center.

In the beginning, I was extremely nervous about taking classes here but I quickly discovered just how friendly everyone was. The student body is wonderful and supportive. The professors are deeply involved with their students and are full of character. I always feel comfortable discussing academic and personal issues with the counselors in addition.

One of the greatest things about Union County College is it's wonderful student body. The students here are welcoming and extremely friendly. In addition, there is a lot of culturally diverse students. There's always an opportunity to learn about the world outside our country and possibly make connections with all sorts of people here.

Many students may be surprised to hear that Union County College offers a wide variety of vacation packages and tickets to museums and amusement parks. Students travel to different countries annually, such as England and Panama. This summer, my school was selling Six Flags Great Adventure tickets for a very low price. It was helpful because it helped saved me a lot of money when I went to Six Flags.

Many high school students cringe at the idea of attending a community college but my academic experience at one has been a great one. The professors often make their subjects interesting. While I think some classes are too easy, there are some that will require extra studying.

The school offers a wide variety of scholarships for its students. The financial aid representatives are patient and willing to explain any questions students may have about financial aid.

It a small community college, with really great professors and some really horrible ones. My only complaint is with the parking for the evening students. Unless you get there early right after work you can forget it.

The gym where the guys work out is ok. It would be much better if they had more classes for the women, like zumba or yoga.

So far they offer everything I need to transfer to university so I have no complaints
College Senior 2013-07-28T16:14:47Z
The school in my opinion has a great library that meets all the academic needs for the students I couldn't ask for better
College Senior 2013-07-28T16:08:58Z
The only thing my school doesn't have that I would want is housing and meal plans but other than that they have everything imaginable that a student can ask for
College Senior 2013-07-28T16:06:40Z
Many of the students that attend my school do it for the wrong reasons weather it be because they receive a substantial amount of financial aid or because someone else wants the to go I don't believe that most of them really want to be there while many others are there because they truly want to better themselves

I am an Engineering major and so far the classes i have taken are just to prepare me for the next round of classes but by the time i graduate it will prepare me for the transfer to NJIT the professors are very informative and the learning experience is very exciting.

I attended another school before going here and I was able to transfer 33 credits, which was very beneficial for me.

I have not graduated from the college yet and not sure of how well the alumni network, job prospects, and career center work.

I took a Chemistry class that was an early morning class. I always use to wake up late and forget to print out my notes on the topic for that day. When I got into the class room that morning, I would always run to the computer lab that was right around the corner from my class. I was always able to print my notes out right then and there with no problem. It was great. The computer networks are always great. There are times that the network goes down, but it is only once in awhile and usually the teachers are informed of it.

I am not much of an athlete, but from what I have experienced at Union County College, the students love the sports games, the gym, and the work out room thats available for everyone. The had a competition on designing a new school owl as the mascot. Everyone seemed to want to submit their owl, I even submitted one. The theatre performances are spectacular. I went to a few of the performances and the actors were amazing. They put alot of emotions and work into every performance. Not many students go to the plays tho, unless they have to. The campus itself is always booming with students hanging out, laughing, studying, and having a good time. The college needs to get the students more involved in other activities. Many students do not know about certain activities that are going on at the campus, and when they do find out, the event passed.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
