I'm not going to lie to you, it is extremely easy to be considered an attractive female here. The standard for girls here is extremely low and any girl that is half-decent usually has picking from a large demographic of guys. As far as getting bothered or harassed by older guys that is not an issue because if such misconduct occurs the consequences are brutal. Having "guys" there to look out for her is by no means necessary but can not hurt I suppose.

Most cadets seem to agree that there is a wide range of attractive coeds at West Point. This is in no small part due to the overall physical fitness of the campus. The Army is not quick to let you slide out of shape, for practical purposes, but this definitely factors into physical appearances of members of the opposite sex. The majority of cadets do, however, believe that the guys are, on average, better looking than the girls. As far as the female cadets go, you receive more mixed reviews, which makes it difficult to determine how many of the comments are made jokingly. There are also way fewer women on campus than men.
The majority of cadets seem to agree that the student body is extremely physically fit and that physical fit people are generally attractive. Because attractiveness is subjective, this seems to be the reasoning that most cadets use. Because of the situations that you most often see them in (i.e. physical training or full dress uniform), it can be hard to notice just how attractive someone is at times.
