Everything You Need Is Provided

All the service acdemies are free (if you survive the cut and get in). They are great because almost everything is provided for you from the food in the mess hall to bedding, clothing and laundry. The only down side is that you are limited to one brand so if you like a certain type of soap or shampoo you have to buy your own but your military pay check every month can cover those costs.

Although West Point is government paid, they do not hand out scholarships and our salary is not that much. Money goes very quick as a cadet, so anything extra is very useful.

Good but Not Perfect.

Found out after the fact that there was a deposit for enrollment, but full tuition, room and board, and stipend covers everything pretty well.
