Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

There are two cafeterias on campus. Both of them are open early in the morning—usually by 7 a.m.—and close around 8 p.m. Both serve Puerto Rican cuisine and typical items, such as rice and chicken and other Puerto Rican dishes. The cafeterias also offer other choices to satisfy all tastes. For example, you can choose something more Americanized, like a great variety of sandwiches, from tuna to steak, hot dogs, hamburgers, and lots more. All of the options are offered at a very reasonable price and are excellent tasting. Students who have a more vegetarian diet can find a variety of fresh fruits, patties, and salads. If you are craving a quick snack or have limited time to grab something to eat, there are vending machines in almost any corner of the campus that offer snacks, water, and sodas at very reasonable prices.

If you want a cup of coffee, there is a small coffee shop located right in the middle of campus that has snacks and a great variety of hot coffees. This is a great choice for those moments when your body just needs some caffeine to stay awake, especially if you are taking night courses. Overall, you can definitely find a huge variety of food and snacks for every occasion at any time on campus!
