Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

From the overwhelmingly diverse campus culture to the odd architecture, UB takes some getting used to. But nearly all students say they’ve gotten a lot out of their four (or five, or six) years here, and many simply love the place. There are some institutional problems that get people down: administrative hassles, bland campus food, and rotten parking. The decentralized campus can lead to a diminished feeling of community. And the weather is a challenge to the spirit. But UB’s modern facilities and world-class computer network get high marks, and most UB students grow to appreciate the great academics, the friendly people, and Buffalo’s high quality of life.

UB has a great college experience waiting, but instead of gently offering it to you, it challenges you to “come and get it.” If you’re not intimidated by the diversity and the sprawling campus and if you get involved, you’ll have an eclectic and inspirational experience. Students say UB is no utopia, but it’s a lot of fun. And when it’s over, nearly everyone remembers it fondly.

Eh It's Okay

Just get there a good 20 mins before. Lass and you'll find something. If you live on campus just bus or walk because parking would be a waste of time

There Is a No Smoking Policy

But it is never enforced by anyone at all. UBreath free is a myth. I've never seen students busted for alcohol either but I'm sure it happens. Just don't wave it around and you're good.
