Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

Students come to learn a lot at UAT. They may start with little to no knowledge about their field of study, but by becoming students, they soon learn the realities (both harsh and enlightening) of the industry and field, and what is expected of them over the years spent studying at UAT. Through the help of peers, professors, and project work, students come to expect great things in their future. What makes the school unique is the experience. For every major, the professors follow a rule of thumb: the student will always learn more when exposed directly to his or her work. When the students start to strictly apply themselves and do it over and over and over again, they learn more.

As only one part of the learning process, the professors at UAT allow students freedom and allow them to directly experience the discovery for themselves. One thing the school lacks is sports and events that take place on campus. UAT needs more events to encourage the students to get outside of their dorm rooms a little more. Other than that, the school has a great atmosphere to do what the mission statement says: "Learn, Experience, Innovate."

Environment

The entire environment of the school is exactly what I wanted. Everyone is just like me and I feel comfortable with the type of people I'll be around everyday. I chose this school because it specialized in what I love doing and I feel like I'll be a good fit here.
