Broad Range of Programs

The quality of each major is not up to me to judge, but I know that there are many different programs at Akron to choose from. When I was seeking a second major, I had no trouble in gathering many options.

Freshman Dorms

I can only speak for the average on-campus housing. I had nothing to complain about my experience in the dorms. It's a great way to get to know people when starting out in college. The dorms are very well secured and I never had any reason to not feel safe there.

Classes

Though most programs have the same curriculum for all classes that are the same course, all teachers teach it differently. This can be good or bad depending on that teacher's take on the curriculum. Some will give homework every night and difficult tests while others will turn these into in-class assignments and open note quizzes.
