Alumni Publications Alabama Alumni Magazine, a quarterly publication highlighting alumni and campus activities. It includes campus news, in-depth features, and short profiles. It also has a personals section listing alumni updates on jobs and personal lives.
Major Alumni Events
  • Alumni Weekend – A-Day football scrimmage is an opportunity for alumni to recognize officers, honor award winners, and salute reunion groups of the Golden Fifties Club.
  • Capstone Leadership Assembly for Student Success (CLASS) – Alumni search the state of Alabama to find high school juniors who excel in leadership activities. These students are invited to UA's campus for a day full of workshops and leadership seminars.
  • The Golden Fifties Club is a group of Alabama alumni who celebrate more than 50 years since they graduated from the University. They unite each year to honor the class celebrating its 50 year reunion.
  • Homecoming – On game day, the Alumni office sponsors on the Quad with tent displays, which represent the colleges and schools of the University and feature entertainment three hours prior to kickoff.

  • $3 discount on oil change at all Express Oil change locations
  • 10% discount on souvenirs at the Supe Store, the Trunk, Alabama Book Store, the College Store, and Bama Fever
  • Alabama Alumni Association's International Tour Program offers alumni and friends vacation tour options through selected agencies to accommodate a variety of tour sites, costs, and schedules
  • The Alumni Life Insurance Program – affordable group-term life insurance
  • Alumni Scholarship Program – scholarship awards that recognizes both academics and alumni loyalty to recruit children and grandchildren of UA graduates

  • Discovering Bama Campus Visit Program – a catered personalized tour of the campus coordinated by the Alumni Office staff for high school students and their parents (recommendation from an active member necessary)
  • E-mail updates including information on Homecoming, A-Day, reunions, and other campus events that cater to returning alumni
  • Free fare on the Tuscaloosa Trolley (excludes football shuttles on game day)
  • Hotel discounts and car rental discounts
