Major Events

  • Alumni Weekend – A-Day football scrimmage is an opportunity for alumni to recognize officers, honor award winners, and salute reunion groups of the Golden Fifties Club.
  • Capstone Leadership Assembly for Student Success (CLASS) – Alumni search the state of Alabama to find high school juniors who excel in leadership activities. These students are invited to UA's campus for a day full of workshops and leadership seminars.
  • Homecoming – On game day, the Alumni office sponsors on the Quad with tent displays, which represent the colleges and schools of the University and feature entertainment three hours prior to kickoff.
  • The Golden Fifties Club is a group of Alabama alumni who celebrate more than 50 years since they graduated from the University. They unite each year to honor the class celebrating its 50 year reunion.

Publications

  • Alabama Alumni Magazine, a quarterly publication highlighting alumni and campus activities. It includes campus news, in-depth features, and short profiles. It also has a personals section listing alumni updates on jobs and personal lives.
