Necessary Punishment

The campus has rules and policies just like all campuses but due to the understanding and willing students we almost never have any problems. Only when a student get outrages to the point where the board or the police needs to be involved then the right precautions are taken.

Strictness

The campus has many polices, that they enforce. For example they do not accept cheating in any way shape or form and it could lead to one possible being suspended or expelled from the university. They also have no tolerance policy to drugs on campus. They enforce this buy doing random drug tests and health inspections on the dorms during the holidays. I would definitely make sure you are not going around talking loudly about drugs or cheating and even doing either of those things. The campus has many other polices but these are two of the major ones.

Easy Going

The campus is relatively loose when it comes to the rules. Smoking is allowed on campus, and if you're like me you hate it. But you learn to deal with it. UAPD is kind of a joke and mostly give out parking tickets. Dave Baumhower is the best! It sucks with ABC comes into town because you ALWAYS hear stories of people getting busted so that always puts a damper on that weekend but they don't come often. Some of the bars are strict, some are not... it all depends. Fraternity houses always have alcohol and usually get away with a lot since police are really allowed on the houses properties. All sorority houses are required to be dry so you won't find anything over there... usually. Except for parking tickets thats really all you have to worry about. Unless you're being dumb, then you might get the occasional MPI, so don't be dumb.
