Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

University of Alabama students constantly brag about their school’s traditions and spirit, and their pride is shown throughout the town. Some say it’s the incredible education that drew them here, and others say it’s Bama football that brought them to this Southern school. But no matter what reason these students choose to come to UA, most believe it was the best choice they could have made.

After graduation, some students get a job, some further their education by going to UA’s grad school, and some even go to UA’s law school. No matter what the students decide to do with their future, they believe Bama has prepared them for it. Students advise upcoming freshmen to walk around the Quad, visit the Strip, or watch a football game to understand why so many love UA.

My Thoughts on UA

The University of Alabama was the best 4 years of my life. It was thrilling and exciting to be a student here and I felt I was made apart of a family. The tradition and pride in this community are comparable to none. It was easy to make friends and be consumed by the pride in this school. I loved my teachers, loved greek life, and will really miss the beauty of this campus.

I love it here. You can make the most of anywhere you are if you have the right attitude. This place is fun, and it’s definitely a place to spend four or five years.

UA has been a great experience for me so far. I have met so many wonderful people from all different backgrounds. I also have learned so much from the people I have met. From my two years at UA so far, I am more mature, responsible, and determined. At times, I wish I was not in the South because I think it is conservative, but overall, UA is a great University filled with amazing people and opportunities.
