College Prowler Take
Hot! Hot! Hot! If you like it hot, then Bama’s weather is perfect for you. The summers are hot and humid, so bring shorts and flip-flops. UA students cool off during the summers by going to the pool, so make sure to bring a swim suit. The winters are cold, but it rarely snows. Students recommend sweaters and jeans, but heavy coats and scarves are not needed. An article of clothing you will need year-round at Bama is a raincoat or an umbrella. Rain comes and goes in the most random times. It is “Alabama weather.” This is the best way students can explain Tuscaloosa. Alabama weather is always changing at random times. One morning you can be wearing a T-shirt and jeans, and the next, you need a sweater. The best advice is to bring clothes for all occasions. The South is very humid, so prepare yourself for hot weather and never forget to have your raincoat nearby.

It’s hot in the beginning of the school year, and it will get very cold in the winter, very cold. It also rains a whole lot. Bring a lot of jackets to keep you warm and dry. When it is hot, wear shorts, T-shirts, and flip-flops! After class, you can go to the pool. |
