I often forget to get my financial aid filed in time, my advice, file as soon as you file taxes.

I didn't receive any help besides loans. There aren't any grants available to current students only to High School seniors coming in.

The amount & kind of scholarships are geared more towards the full-time, traditional, and younger diversified student body, as opposed to part-time (6-9 credits), non-traditional, and older student. However, I, being in the latter category, have received a couple of scholarships, so far. The down side to the school's financial aid process is their pushing of federal student loans as financial aid, when loans are just loans, not real financial aid (like scholarships, grants, or federal work study grants). Much of the time the financial aid is deposited either before or during the first week of classes every semester, but sometimes it arrives afterwards, which makes buying expensive textbooks in a timely fashion very difficult.
